Yay. I love a good series....my DH however does not like it when I become addicted to a series.

I finished my book last night, took awhile because I was just not interested in it. I would not recommend it. It was Objects in the mirror are closer then they appear. It was hard to follow and I just did not care for it.

I am going to go pick a new book from my pile later today.

Did they make that into a movie? The title sounds familiar.

I finished yet another highlander book by Karen Marie Moning. I think maybe I should take a break from them, though I've been enjoying them so much. I'm not sure what else to read though. Hmm.

The good news is these are such fluffy reads that I think I'm way ahead of schedule to meet my 26 books in 2013 goal.

Re: For the love of reading group! ~JANUARY 2013~ *Join us!*

I am into 2 non-fictions this week. The one is an audio book on Odyssey of the West I - The Hebrews and Greeks. Very interesting series of lectures across many disciplines about the ancient world. The series goes through all ages up to now. So, I think I will get them all over time. It will take a long time though.

The other book is called Far from the Tree - Parents, Children, and the Search for Identity by Andrew Solomon. He interviewed parents of children who have a "vertical identity" which means they are not like their parents for various reason e.g. gay, disabled, autistic, committed a serious crime, born out of rape etc. It is VERY INTERESTING.

I will join I need to get offline and read more. I have quiet the que on my kindle. (is that right quiet? I have been in a non english speaking country too long. My English is suffering)

I suppose my first goal would be to read 30 minutes a day. I like to bounce between books so set book goals are not best for me.

I think I have finally found my next series to read. By Tasha Alexander, the Lady Emily books. I'm partway through the first one, and really enjoying it.
