the weight machines at the gym that focus on one muscle....

Is it called circuit training when you go down the line and use those? Also is it good for a female to use these for looking weight? I know very minimal but what I know is this

*the correct weight to use is enough that you can't do more than 15 but really burn by 12 lifts

*your supposed to do 3 "sets" of 12-15 reps on each machine*

*you take a one minute break between each 12-15 that you do

*you do either upper body or lower body each day with abs at anytime.....

So what else do i need to know?? I don't wanna start asking questions at the gym cause they will hound you to hire them for personal training.... I'm trying to google this to learn but I really don't even know how to word my question.

Thanks

Bodybuilding.com has excellent resources. It can help you map out a weight lifting schedule. Resistance training is very good for women.

Circuit training is high intensity short burst cardio mixed with weight lifting.

Start with comfortable weight. You want to push without overdoing it.

I second bodybuilding.com, they have different plans you can follow.

I also suggest not using just the machines but to add in free weights if they are available.

The book New Rules of Lifting for Women is also a great resource.

You're welcome.

The livestrong channel on YouTube has great how to videos. If you see an exercise on bodybuilding.com that looks unfamiliar, head over there and look it up. It will give you proper technique.
