Imagine vs Flip vs Thirsties vs Sbish *Tons of PICS!*

Since the laundry was all clean, I decided to do a bunch of comparison pictures of the prefolds that I have. For reference, Flip organics are about 1.5 years old and used daily. Thirsties hemp prefolds are a size 2 and used as night diaper inserts. Imagine prefolds are bamboo/cotton blend and used for about 1 month. Imagine green edge is small, yellow edge is medium and blue edge is large. Sbish "flats" are about 1 month old as well. The red edge is a small and green edge is a medium.

As for what I prefer, it depends before the Imagines, I always grabbed the Flip organics because I knew I could trust it pad folded in a Flip cover for at least 2 hours for my toddler. Once I took the seam out of the thirsties, I started using those more as well. Then I got the Imagine ones and I like those just as much as the Flip.

I feel like the absorbency is the about the same, with the imagines being a little fluffier but not as heavy/dense when soaked (if that makes sense? The flip seems to sag a little when fully soaked). I would say that the Imagine seems to bunch up less, especially less than the Thirsties.

Of all the prefolds, in my opinion, the Sbish and the Imagine are the softness. The sbish is more like a fluffy towel softness while the Imagine is like a worn t-shirt soft (I prefer the Imagine).

As for thickness, the Thirsties and Flip seem the most trim followed by the imagines and then the Sbish (which are poofy).

And for night worthy, I haven't tried the Imagines yet but for the sake of research, I will try them soon and let you all know. Right now my son is a heavy wetter at night and we use either a Flip or Thirsties prefold with a thirsties hemp insert inside a fleece pocket fitted with amazing success (talking 12+ hours!)

Ok, enough of my opinions (I could go on and on and on about cloth diapers, I am a DORK really!). Here are all the comparison pictures in the threads below.

Up next is the medium Imagine Bamboo.

Here is the Imagine Bamboo medium next to a Flip organic

Here is Imagine next to a thirsties Hemp size 2

Imagine next to a Sbish Medium "flat"

Imagine medium on top of a Thirsties size 2 (really just that "tail" on the thirsties is the difference)

Imagine medium on top of a Flip (pretty much the same size, that is why you can't see the flip

WHEW!!!! Hope that helps! Let me know if there is any other action shots that you want

Also for reference, I only padfold, no snappis so I can't tell you how well they fit like that.
