Rdif Chips?

We were at a gathering tonight and the topic of RDIF came up. There was a debate about if the majority of people would voluntarily get them. So I'm asking here. Would you or would you not voluntarily get one? Here is a link to a commercial about them.

Re: Rdif Chips?

I voted yes.

I already have one. I would have voted yes even if I didn't have one.

All enhanced driver's licenses in Vermont have RFID technology. It allows me to cross the border without a passport since my DL is now the equivalent of a passport.

It comes with a cover so that the DL cannot be read by some roaming scanner.

I have had it for 3 years. No issues with anyone stealing my identity or compromising my privacy.

Would put a GPS chip in my kids in a heartbeat. JS.

Strokes run in my family. If a RFID could tell my doc if I had a clogged artery before I got hurt, I'd be the first in line. No question.

No I don't think I would be comfortable with something like that in my body. On my id like a pp was talking about maybe but not inside me.

Probably not myself, but I'm healthy so there is no need. But I think it would be fantastic for my husband to have. He is Type 1 diabetic and had a kidney transplant, it would be fabulous for doctors to have that information if he was rendered incapacitated. He has medic alert bracelet but never wears it.

Yes, I would see it for people with chronic/complicated medical issues. For me, there's no need.
