Who should buy it?

I start a new Nannying job tomorrow taking care of an 18 mth old little girl,I will be transporting her around on field trips, errands, etc in my mini van.
Taking the seat her parents out will be a lot of trouble so I think a new seat for my van will be best so my question is who should buy it?

It depends. If the parents say that you're welcome to take the seat out of their car and use it, then you.

If the parents say they'd prefer to keep her seat installed in their car, then them.

I buy all the seats I want my child to ride in. My sitter had a seat for DS but I bought a new one anyway.

ftr I am very picky about the safety of car seats if I have to buy and pay for it it's going to be a good seat.

Her family should provide a seat. I bought all the seats for my kids daycare, and when my mom did daycare, the families always bought her seats.

I agree with this. If you are just wanting to avoid the hassle then you, but I would consult with the parents about which one they prefer the child to ride in.

If the parents dont want their seat to be switched around then them.

I also have no problem with the parents picking out a seat and me paying for it if it comes down to that,I am just trying to avoid a daily hassle.
