OT, but hey... you changed your avi! He's a cutie pie :-)

We co-sleep, so our 2yo sleeps in the middle of our bed. We do have a toddler bed in the room as well, but it is rarely used. No issues with privacy .

My middle son slept with me from birth until the new baby was born when he was nearly 4. We had no privacy and I went to bed with him then got back up to spend time with DH.

Re: Moving and have to share a bedroom

we choose to share a room with our 2 1/2 yr old and 7 mo old. we have a king bed and a twin against each other. we have a hanging sweater thing in our closet for the baby's clothes and the our TV is on a bookshelf and we use the shelves for the toddler's clothes. We have a bookshelf of toys and books in the room as well. as for private time, they sleep thru anything (we have teens too so we can't really do anything in the living room if they're home).

Re: Moving and have to share a bedroom

We share a room with our 13 month old, right now he sleeps in a sidecarred crib but once he's old enough for a big boy bed we'll get him a twin mattress

Re: Moving and have to share a bedroom

I sleep with my babies in the same room until they're two or so. We have a crib for our one-year old against a wall but she never uses it. If I need a break at night, I put her in the room to sleep in our bed, wait with her until she falls asleep and then move her to the crib. We don't really hang out in our bedroom so I don't worry about making too much noise.
