Re: Juice
Our DS started juice around 18 months. He got 2 oz apple juice mixed with 4 oz of water. I don't think we gave it everyday, just once in a while. We only did pale juices, white grape, pear, apple and always 100%. Around 3.5 we started giving him 2-3 oz of orange juice with breakfast. Now, we do 2-3 oz of oj for breakfast, milk for lunch, and "apple water" for dinner. All other drinks are water. We don't really make a big deal about it, it just is what it is. If we're out somewhere, he brings water. If he is at a playdate and is offered juice, he knows I'm okay with it. If we go out to dinner, which is super rare, like once a month, he can ask for chocolate milk. Sometimes I get into a green smoothie kick and he gets a cup of that as a snack.

No juice here except on rare occasions, once every couple months at the most. We don't buy it ever so not much chance for them to drink it.

We buy the Apple and Eve Fruitables juice boxes and DD can have 1 a day. The Fruitables are nice b/c they're a serving of fruit and a serving of vegetables (like V8 Fusion), so I feel better about them than regular juice. I don't like always buying the boxes, but like having that portion control (and for me b/c I drink them too. Bad mommy!
)DS only drinks mama milk. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using DS Forum

DH and I aren't really juice drinkers, so we don't typically have any in the house unless we had a party or needed it for a recipe. When we do have it I'll let the kids have a little. We also let them have some if we go out to eat.
I only buy 100% juice, no added sugars. I don't really care what brand.

He can have two ounces organic carrot juice mixed with four ounces of water after nap time a few times a week.

Usually around 18 months. My kids are sensitive to apple juice. That's in everything so we stick to OJ. It's only permitted with breakfast. Water during the day and milk with lunch and dinner.

Re: Juice
We don't really keep juice around the house. The only time my kids have any is canning season when I need it for a recipe, so they get it maybe twice a year and it is diluted with water. We only drink milk and water here.

Re: Juice
No juice until at least two years old. At two, they get it once in awhile. Around three I let them have orange juice in the morning with breakfast. Lunch and dinner is milk and in between is just water.

I didn't start giving DS juice till maybe 2 1/2 months ago when he was 2 1/2. I buy the honest kids juice/lemonade and only go through 2 boxes a month? Not a lot at all.
He drinks almond milk, coconut milk and water for the most part.
