My diaper bag is pretty clean so there really wasn't anything to take out my purse was a whole different story! I threw away a whole bunch of stuff and put a bunch of hair pins and rubber bands away.

Finally jumping in for the week. Cleaned out my purse/diaper bag last night. Tons of paint chips, receipts, a tootsie roll, etc. Replaced my "envelopes"/accordion organizer. Nice and tidy

About to tackle the boys' clothes. Think I am breaking out the 4/4T clothes for ODS while I'm up there (tear). He is getting so tall.

Haven't done cleaners yet. I'm allergic to one, so I know I'll be able to purge that one at least.

Eta: hit books/toys first. Got rid of two infant toys that were in bad shape. 3 books, 2 coloring books, some random puzzle pieces, and removed two of hubby's books from the playroom.

Re: Mini Minimalist Challenge: 1/7-1/11

^ I haaaaate going through the kids' clothes. Not just because it can be tedious, but I am such a sap and get pretty sad about it. My 5 month old is already outgrowing some of her 9 month stuff! Today she's wearing all 12 month stuff and it fits perfectly. Crazy! Our son is moving into 3T stuff, some his 2T stuff still fits but he's been wearing mostly 3T lately so I got rid of some of the 2T stuff recently. *tear* He even wears some 4T stuff, too, he's pretty tall. Just depends on what it is. They grow way too fast.

Re: Mini Minimalist Challenge: 1/7-1/11

Yesterday I could only find one crayon to purge from my purse. I will look through it again today though and my diaper bag but i'm pretty sure it's empty.

I did find 5 t-shirts to get rid of from dd's closet. I am also in the process of purging lots of infant clothes from ds (since our 3rd and last baby is another girl). BUT, a lot of that stuff is scattered through the house b/c it is all going to be sold. So even though that stuff will be leaving eventually I found an additional 5 items to get rid of.

Wednesday 1.9.13:

Okay I added a few more pieces to the summer consignment from DDs closet. I am sure there is some other stuff I'd like to purge even though it still fits but that's all I got done for now.

Did toys, cleaning supplies, and kids' closet. Now I'm out of town, but am hoping to do my backpack (as a purse of sorts) while I'm here.

Removed a basket full of 24m clothes and shoes from the boys' closet and dresser. They will be put away for DS3, though, so still in the house.

I guess most of the 4T clothes are in the storage unit. I should be pretty stocked up. Just need to run by there later today if the rain lets up. Hoping to clear the whole unit out (and sell the bulk of it) this month. It is like pulling teeth to get hubs to do it, though. We have already extended the rental twice. Tired of spending $65/mo on stuff we will likely get rid of (with the exception of the baby stuff).

Eta: got rid of the cleaner that was giving me a rash, another cleaner that was pretty much empty, and a bottle of diluted ACV a friend had stashed in my house. That's probably all I can purge from cleaners right now.
