Softbums OS organic bamboo pod.. Defective??
I just bought this new today, washed and dried, and this is what it looks like. Is this much bunching of the fabric normal?? Idk it just doesn't look right to me

I've only had one bamboo pod & it sort of looks like that. My GoodMamas soakers did that too. I think it might be normal-ish for bamboo.

Re: Softbums OS organic bamboo pod.. Defective??
I don't know if its normal, per se, but I was just complaining to myself about my sbish insert/doubler things and my A&A swaddles (using as blankets now for DS). They are all warped to different degrees. I'm hanging my sbish after giving a quick tug to keep them flat.

good call! I have a hemp babies doubler I want to throw away because it just makes me mad to see it (its been stressing me out for a year just sitting there mocking me from the drawer)... I think its warped beyond stretch fixing---and that fold in it- just can't get over it.

Ok good to know. Don't think I'd buy more of these inserts, this drives me crazy

Mine look like that too. I think it's because the top layer is a different weave than the rest of it, to be softer on the bum. It just shrinks up differently that the lower layers.

I have 3 of them and they all look like that. Never had any problem with them absorbing or anything.

Normal! All the fabric layers sharing at different places, sizes. Sort of the same reason prefolds get their Bunchy layers. Their mini pods are the worst! The big ones don't bother me personally though, and they are bulletin proof for us, so I get past the curling.
