Anyone ever see a rash like this???

I just changed my 21 month old dd's diaper and found these red circles all over her legs. No where else. Only that one looks like a ring. The rest are round circles about the size of a pencil eraser. They weren't there this morning when I got her up. No new detergent, not new pants. Anyone seen this before?? It's a new one for me and I have two kids with various allergy issues.

Re: Anyone ever see a rash like this???

Those could be mite bites; my kids have had them before - once after we visited a friend's chickens, and another time (sorry, gross warning..........) when we had rats in our attic and the mites were carried in on the rats (we assume, because the mite bites stopped happening after we got rid of the rats).
If it's mite bites, they aren't harmful, but if you can figure out where they come from that would be good. DH and I found that the mites weren't biting us (or at least, we weren't reacting to the bites, they probably were biting us too), so for a while we couldn't figure out why our kids had them (one worse than the other) but not us.

not chicken pox. no "pimple". they don't seem itchy either. at least, she's not scratching them at all. :/

Re: Anyone ever see a rash like this???

My son has something similar and it was diagnosed by our PCP and Dermatologist as folliculitis. Essentially he had dry skin that he scratched and it got infected. We've been using an antibiotic cream on it to try to clear it up.

Re: Anyone ever see a rash like this???

They look like bites of some sort to me. When he was little, my brother's mosquito bites looked just like that.
