Favorite diapers for outings?

Have tried prefolds and covers, pockets, grovia ai2 and aios. So far I really like aios at home for my 13lb 7week old. I have grovia, bumkins and bottom bumpers. My problem is they take up a lot of room in my diaper bag that's why I tried the grovia ai2 but they were just ok. So now I'm gonna try flips. What do you guys suggest?

I like BG 4.0 stuffed with a Thirsties hemp prefold when out of the house. I never have a leak with that combo during the day. I'm not much of AI2 girl, but I'm sure a Flip w/ a good insert would be just as bullet proof.

Oh and for a good insert I would suggest a Flip organic or Thirsties hemp prefold. They are a little pricey but totally worth it imo! I just got some Imagine bamboo prefolds and those look great too. I'm sooo excited to get them prepped!

A fitted & PUL Cover - because fitteds were the thirstiest for us .... and an outing is the last place I wanted to deal with LEAKS!

I love our aplix bottombumpers for outings. They absorb a lot and the aplix is pretty easy to get on quickly, which is important for me while chasing a 6 year old and 1 year old

I use mostly pockets and prefolds, but for outings I stick with just pockets. If i know the boys wont be changed for a little while I will add a hemp insert under the microfiber one for a little extra. If im going to be out most of the day I have an extra bag I just throw a bunch of diapers in to leave in the car, and just keep 2 in the actual diaper bag with me.

bG 4.0 stuffed with a Thirsties hemp PF (just like another Mama posted). And I agree with PP, if you really want an AI2 I think the Flip would work well.
