I usually put stuff in the car just to get it out of the house. We're usually pretty good about dropping it off regularly. DH just took a load yesterday when he had to run errands. Our Goodwill is close to some places where we shop regularly (like Target) so we don't ever just have to make a separate trip or anything.

Getting it out of my house is the biggest issue for me. I put things in the coat closet and when a bag is full, put it in my car. Donation drop sites are near my DD's school, so I drop bags off after taking her to school. If I had a ton, I'd call the Salvation Army truck.

The back of my van is currently filled with 4 bags and 1 box that needs to be dropped off....they have been in there since new years, lol!

This is why I don't put it in my van since the thrift store that I drop off at us 25 min away. So I end up having to take it out for hockey equipment etc when we go the town we practice at. Which is 15 min away. I wish that towns thrift store had a drop box. Instead you have to go during hours and bring it in. Which is why it still I'm my basement.

Hehe...that is wh I schedule pick ups (lupus foundation and Vietnam Vets foundation both pick up in my area)...fill bag (or box) call...set outside...done

I have 6 bags waiting in the trunk that have been there like 2 weeks! We pass tons of drop offs but I always forget

well it didn't work for DH to take it in the other day so my cold room still looks like a garbage dump. Next time I go to town.....

My stuff is FINALLY getting to the thrift store tomorrow. I AM going for groceries and I have to drop it off before I can put the groceries in the van. I really need to stop putting it in my cold room and instead straight to the van.
