Toddlers rough on wool Longies

Hi mamas! So, my 19 month old is so rough in his play that his Longies keep getting ruined. The edges along the cuffs come unraveled. So far he has ruined about 5 pairs of Longies and we all know they are not cheap. Lol! So, what am I to do about this? Is there someone who can somehow fix them or are we doomed? I hate to stop using wool with him but I cannot afford to keep throwing out 60.00 pants

I used upcycled bsweaters from goodwill for this very reason. Had my mom and my neighbor make them into pants for him. I had like 10 pair of play ones. Then, I had a few nice ones for while out. It really workked out bc we had to use wool, so didn't really have a choice.

Interlock wool sounds like a more durable choice for your toddler.
