I'm happy with the Diono ultramat and I didn't find it interfered with the installation of our Radian RXT. It has cut outs in the bite so the feet of the seat are completely unaffected. I worked really hard to get a tight install with the seat (both before and after getting the ultramat) and don't notice a difference with the mat.

We just bought a new car in August and then DS developed motion sickness. After having him barf in the car repeatedly, we decided we needed something waterproof to make clean up easier/possible.

ETA: We have a 2012 Equinox and the head rests are really narrow, making the back of the mat not sit as well as it should. It's just a minor aesthetic issue and doesn't affect function.
