How much do I need to feed 30 ppl mid-afternoon?

LO's Christening is at 1pm Sunday. It's an awkward time but I think we should have food for friends and family (but may not eat until 3). Many ppl are coming from 1+ hours away. How much do I need? DH and I were making a list last night and I added veggie tray and cheese and crackers for ppl to munch on while we got the food together. Otherwise we are having:

baked ziti
crockpot of meatballs
baked ham (big ham my aunt is bringing)
scalloped potato (my sister is making)
green salad
cold cut platter

Should I make 2 baked ziti's just in case? Is it enough? other ideas?

Thanks!

You'll have rolls and bread too? How many meatballs fit in your crockpot? I might do one more side.

I always figure leftovers will not go to waste. Our family will eat them or they will go home with someone that will.

I have a 6 quart crockpot to fill. I will probably have an extra bag of frozen meatballs I can heat up if needed. I will think baout another side, but not sure what. My sis changed from scalloped potatoes since there was ham in it to pigs in a blanket.

yes, rolls too.

If you have extra meatballs to heat up in a pinch then that would be good. I'm always when I see how many meatballs people help themselves to. Never any leftovers on the meatballs.

Fyi, I make 40 large (1/4 cup uncooked) meatballs at a time and they all fit in my 6 quart with sauce, up to the tippy top.
