So, I flip them inside out snap the sides and one in the center run a kabob skewer through it, pick up as much of the shell as possible, let the inside drop into a pot of boiling water.



I have no doubt I will find ways to ruin myu cloth diapers trying to cut corners.

I hope this works well for you but the heat close to PUL makes me nervous for you. I just wash mine then put them on baby but change frequently for the first couple wears as they aren't very absorbent. I wouldn't risk your new diapers by doing this, personally.

Yeah, I'd be careful with having the PUL so close to all that heat. I hope it works for you!

I did buy them as seconds, so not quite as big of a loss. Only boiled for 10 mins, then washed. So far I can't see any damage by doing it. He has them on now

I just tossed them in with towels one wash then wore. I only did that to prep & they were fine. No way would I put them anywhere near boiling water.

I wash once then OTB they go. Just remember to change frequently the first few times. Saves so much time & energy over full blown prepping.
