I would wait and get the OS Simplex since they're not going up in price. My babe fit well in the OS around 13lbs. At 3 mos he can still wear the NB but he won't be able to for long.

DD2 is 12lbs @ 7 weeks and she doesn't fit NB any more.

Honestly the quality of Swaddlebees we'd pay extra to them any day.

I have OS so I hope the price will not go up but I LOVE these diapers and I agree!

I am a BG girl through and through and hate everything else but I LOVE the simplexes!

Funny how slowly but surely my stash is becoming almost 100% Swaddlebees.... I love other brands, but I really love my simplex and basix.

I know ultimately this is what may happen to me.

I only have 6 atm and I want to make absolutely sure I will always love these dipes so I am patiently (not really all that patient) waiting for about 5-6 months before I buy again and I am pretty sure they will be all simplex.

I will keep my other diapers but I am really liking these right now.

I always wanted that all cotton diaper that worked and with the stage dry option that is PERFECT!!!

I was nervous about the snaps but they are the best snap diaper I ever had--I have skinny babes.

Am I the only one with snaps on more than one Basix that's failed?

Nope, me too, and terrible stitching that should have been a seconds that they "allowed me to exchange" but still made me pay to ship them in. (I sent back brand new, never washed, and feel bad for whomever they were resold to!) I just shipped out 1 with a broken snap, after paying $3 at FedEx to print the shipping label and form because I don't have a printer, so out of pocket this purchase has cost me $10 on returning items to them, a diaper made of synthetic materials with 3/12 that I bought new having issues, and 3 I bought used with very relaxed elastic... I do love the ones that work but I will not be paying the increased price, an increase of 10% maybe, but almost 30% on synthetic materials, not happening here.

yes, but a 30% hike? that's not reasonable, not for synthetic fibers. If I buy more AIOs, I will buy Thirsties, they are USA made and cost less than the Basix did before the price hike!
