EBF poo stain removal help!!!
Ok so I keep hearing this myth that EBF poo doesn't stain. Well it's a lie. At least at my house it is. Her poo is rrreally yellow and it doesn't come out of anything without a good long hot oxiclean soak. I use Indian cotton prefolds.
Right now I'm using dapple soap. I've read good reviews, but I'm wondering if it just doesn't work. Warm rinse, hot wash, cold rinse. Thanks ladies! Visit my brand new blog! imamommy.weebly.com. It's still very small but I will be posting at least every week. Thank you!! |

Try making your first rinse a cold rinse. Also, lay them in a window while they are still damp and let the sun work it's magic!

Re: EBF poo stain removal help!!!
Oh, EBF poo definitely stains, but it comes out super easy with just a little bit of sunshine on a wet diaper.

I don't get how some people don't have staining either :headscrath: but the sun will take the stains out.

Re: EBF poo stain removal help!!!
I was just reading these on another thread it says use warm rinse to start...
http://thecloththatcounts.wordpress....resource-page/ http://blog.bummis.com/2011/10/laundry-science.html Otherwise use the sun or oxybleach. My more point is does it matter until resell time. Easy for me to day since we didn't have this problem I'm sure.

I will say that I am one of those lucky mommies whose diapers never come out stained. DD's EBF poo is bright yellow so I don't know if it's the detergent I use or what.

Re: EBF poo stain removal help!!!
All babies differ. My first DS's EBF poop NEVER stained. With my second DS he has stains in almost every single diaper we own! The only real cure - sunshine. To prevent it you can rinse the diapers after a poop.
