Teachers/Education?

10 years teaching HS Math - taught til DS was 4 and DD was 1. Will be going back to subbing or part-time (if I ever find a job) in the next few years.

High School English! 3 DDs--5.5, 3.5, and 10 months. Love my job--great schedule for having kids, although I'm up a LOT of nights grading papers into the wee hours!

No. I met dh in FL. We were married and had our son. We missed our families in NY state and moved there. We were there 3 years. We learned we didn't really care for the longggggg winters in Buffalo, NY. We moved back to FL. We were there for 5 years and our LO was born. We moved to NC in 2008, just because. I'm at the end of my sophomore year in the K-3 program. I plan to also complete the 4-9 endorsement. On a side note, has anyone heard if the reading endorsement is going to be required for elementary teachers to teach third grade?

I would think that'd be dependent on your state's requirements. Seems like no state can make up their mind about certain certifications/requirements. SpEd has a lot of problems with that too.

It's a rumor that is going around. I'm going to check into it.
