Re: Toddler girl underwear

Gap has undies with nice leg elastic - enclosed and doesn't rub. Dd2 is very picky about her underwear - hates leg eleastic particularly. She'll only wear hanna andersson or gap undies. The gap undies run big - dd2 still wears 2t/3t ones and she wears a girls size 4/5 clothes - they are getting small on her but the 4t are huge are her still.

These are what we use for DD as well, they seem to fit her and stay "in place" well.

Hanna andersson are the best. We had the same wedgie issues and now those are all i will buy. And if you call one of the outlet stores they are cheaper and will ship super fast.

Re: Toddler girl underwear

My DD (3) complains constantly about her Hanes as well, saying they are itching her. I recently found some Calvin Klein pairs at Marshalls for her and they cost less than the Carter's ones, but have the wide "boy" elastic and the leg openings seem to bunch less.

Re: Toddler girl underwear

I was also going to suggest either Hanna Anderson or Fruit of the Loom boy cut (our Walmart recently started carrying them). But honestly our daughter just gets all DS's hand-me-downs, because the boy briefs look soooo much comfier!

We LOVED the old navy ones. Like the gap ones but cheaper and cuter designs!

Re: Toddler girl underwear

We do the Gerber thicker undies at that age. The edges are super soft t-shirt material.

I'm glad I found his thread. Dd has one cheek exposed ALL the time and it drives me nuts. I bought cheapies to train her with (bc I toss poopy ones) and now that we've been accident free for a few days I need to get something with more coverage and a better fit.

She is skinny, no bum, and wears a 12/18 mo in bottoms.

Dd is 23 months and has a booty and still has some thigh cub and a little Buddha belly, the Hanes hipsters fit her so well!!! Enough room in the legs, full coverage in the back and no baggies in the front because they sit under her belly.

The old navy ones fit very similarly and have the softer leg and waist binding. I just really didn't care for the patterns so I went with the Hanes hipsters.

Re: Toddler girl underwear

DD is 2.5 and has a bubble bum :-) Regular-cut undies always give her really bad wedgies. We like the Gerber trainers (non-waterproof) and also *I think* it was Crazy 8 has boyshort styles down to 2t (perhaps 18-24 mos as well). they still have the thinner "girl" elastic waist, but no wedgies! Also cute prints... which DD really likes.
