3 across

We are renting a car on vacation a ford taurus or similar. I have three kids one in a hbb, and infant in a grace snug ride 35 and a 3.5 yr old who is in a grace nautilus. Will these fit. I also have a britax marathon that the 3.5 yr old can fit in.

I would not use a Nauti. I'd try the Marathon instead.

You may have to do the infant seat baseless.

I pricelined a minivan instead for our last trip. I got it for about $40 a day in Ft. Lauderdale. It made everything easier.

Can you fit your stroller, and your luggage in the trunk of the rental car to leave the airport?I knew we couldn' get all our stuff (2 large suitcases and a carryon suitcase) in the trunk with the stroller.

Well we are going tk Disney world and staying on site. We only need and will use the car for one day. It was the same price to do a week from the airport them 1.5 days at the rental place near disney lol. They transport all of our luggage for us from the airport so it only has to fit us and a stroller. I was just going we could happily squish in for the 1 day trip we are taking lll

Re: 3 across

Why rent a car at all if you're staying on-site at Disney? Use the Magical Express, then you just have to take your car seats for the flight and put them in the closet for the rest of your stay!

Re: 3 across

I was able to get 2 Nautalis seasts and a Baby trend bucket in the base in the back of DH's camry. It was super tight and I had to put the bucket in the middle. it isn't something I would want to do all the time but it worked for the couple days we needed it.

Re: 3 across

Oh, okay. Well, the thing with rental cars is that different cars, even of the same "class," are better/worse for 3 across. So you won't really know until you get there and get in the car. I think the marathon is more likely to work than the nautilus, though. And the infant seat is more likely to work baseless, which is fine for you since it's one less thing to bring. Good luck!

Re: 3 across

Something I learned at Disney the hard way...taking your luggage back going home, they only take it in the morning. Read the fine print. We got stuck with ours because we had an 8 pm flight and were staying with family in the condos, so we didn't leave the hotel til about 4. DH blew a gasket when they told us we had to take our own luggage to the airport. Had we known, we would have taken the suitcases down that morning.

Live and learn.

Re: 3 across

The Taurus is huge; you won't have a problem getting three in it. Other similarly sized sedans have plenty of room for three seats. Have fun
