Usually I add whole potatoes and carrots and then sometimes serve bread. If I don't ill fix rice and we will eat it over rice, or fix mc and cheese if I'm feeling adventurous,

Re: What do YOU serve with pot roast?

I usually cook potatoes, onions, and carrots with the roast in the crock pot, then we'll have egg noodles with it and spoon the juice from the roast onto the noodles. If I don't put potatoes in the crock pot with it, then I'll make mashed potatoes and we'll use the liquid as "gravy".

We eat it with Yolk-Free noodles. Regular noodles have a lot of cholesterol, and DH has a cholesterol problem. I can't make him eat perfectly, but I can help by serving better options.

Re: What do YOU serve with pot roast?

I cook potatoes, carrots, and onions in it. I normally bake a little cornbread to go with it. In the summer we always have tons of sliced tomatoes on the side too, I love dipping them in the juice!

I usually cook potatoes with the pot roast (along with all the veggies) and then just serve a salad. But we rarely have dinner without salad
