one of my biggest fears....yeast?!

I've been cloth diapering my little man for 8 of his ten weeks of life and absolutely love it. I recently noticed that his bottom smells slightly yeasty but there are no other signs. I have read that it is hard to get it out of diapers and I can't imagine going through and treating all of them. Thoughts and comments please!

If you don't have a rash I would say its not a problem.

I would use a little bleach about once a month if you are concerned. If you get a yeast rash, you'll need to bleach every load.

It's not hard to get out of diapers provided they are being properly cleaned and disinfected. Unless he has a rash I would just make sure that his bum gets as much air as possible and maybe some coconut oil during changes. I would also add bleach to the wash.

This. If he does develop a rash add a tsp of GSE to your last rinse. If you can't remember to add it to your rinse, just run a super hot load and add it then. Worked great for us. A

And I repeat...you are all great! It was on a fb page I saw a lot of people saying bleach doesn't work and that freaked me out. I will for sure start some regular bleaching

I had yeast with my LO and I did the disinfecting bleach in the wash and coconut oil during changes, hasn't come back!
