Picture Overload =)
I think what makes me a minimalist is that I only keep what I use regularly. Also we live by the motto, "Living with less but only the best". That goes for toys, jewelry, personal care, hobbies ect. It does cost some more money up front but in the long run we like our things better and replace them less often. I follow one in and two out rule when I purchase. Some were saying they wanted to peek into cabinents so I included my kitchen cabinents and bathroom cabinets/medicine cabinets. I feel I am still a work in progress. Hubby still keeps alot of things and has many collections so he keeps most of that in the garage.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() That is our compost collection that goes into the can outside every few days. Also all my cleaning items. Just a magic eraser, orange infused vinegar and a scrub brush and bottle brush. Just vinegar for the rinse, country save powder (and an extra box that my grocer had on clearance so I stocked up =D)and their oxygen bleach. the purple buckets are my essential oils/beeswax/lanolin/and other beauty making supplies as well as the iron and some hydrogen peroxide. diaper pail and the purple bucket has hubbys razors ect in it.(he gets ready in the downstairs bathroom since we cosleep)![]() downstairs medicine cabinet. The spice containers have homemade chest rub and antiseptic ointment. ![]() upstairs master bath ![]() inside the boxes all my daily frequent use things. The spice jars have baking soda, a deodorant stone, coconut oil, and my one necklace, two pairs of earrings, hair ties, and wedding band.![]() ![]() master bedroom![]() my and my son's wardrobe![]() my shoes. I also own Toms and Toms flats and my summer berkinstocks and sandals are in the suitcase in my closet with my season clothes and scrubs incase I ever work in a nursing home that requires them (my current job I wear whatever) NOT minimal but I cannot purge my craft supplies since I buy them right back. Yes, my sewing table is in my giant empty closet. lol![]() upstairs storage closet. Contains keepsakes and my home decor collection in the drawers (picture frames, vases, and other decor.) ![]() our second room (ds potential room one day!)If you guys want to see anything in particular let me know =D.=]

Besides that your lack of stuff is amazing I have to ask...Do you live in base housing somewhere? Your kitchen is an exact model of my old kitchen in base housing on Camp Pendleton.

Re: Picture Overload =)
Love the cleared off kitchen counters! I can never achieve this. We don't have enough cupboard space to hold all my "ingredients" so my counters are lined with large glass jars of stuff.

That's impressive. How do you get by w/ so few clothes for your son. My daughter is 2.5 yrs old and she often needs extra clothing changes due to pee accidents, getting covered in food and paint at daycare, etc. BTW, where's the rest of your food?
