I usually do a banana and a handful of almonds. You could do something like a banana (or other fruit) with peanut butter/almond butter and maybe some bacon or sausage if you need something more.

Re: adjusting to paleo Bfast..
in the whole30 forum, they suggest looking at the three meals a day as 1, 2, 3 and eat whatever you want...not to pigeonhole breakfast into eggs/meat/etc.
sweet potato and chicken apple sausage is good.

Re: adjusting to paleo Bfast..
fruit? we do fruit and veggie juice - fresh juiced at home. ummmm, sometimes DD has carrots and ranch. Today she asked for "ants on a log" but we didn't have raisins, so she had celery with peanut butter and tiny chunks of apples.

Re: adjusting to paleo Bfast..
This morning we had fried apples because DD thought a smoothie popsicle sounded too cold. just peeled and sliced up apples and tossed them in a frying pan with butter and a splash of cinnamon and salt. DD didn't want to wait until they were cooked, so she also ate half an apple just normal.

Re: adjusting to paleo Bfast..
Because I'm lazy, I generally eat leftovers from dinner. There's no need to have "breakfast" items for breakfast. Food is food.

Re: adjusting to paleo Bfast..
I usually eat leftovers. My kids eat fruit mainly. Can you do dairy? Cheese, yogurt are good options. Bacon, sausage and potato hash is good (and freezes well).

Re: adjusting to paleo Bfast..
We eat veggie, not paleo and we make scrambled tofu. Not sure if tofu is on your menu, but if so, it is a fabulous tasty easy egg substitute.
