I am so sorry. We lost one of our sweet angels at 20 wks as well. I delivered at home so I don't have any advice to offer as to what to expect. a friend of mine lost her at 16 weeks and she had a full on labor. she delievered the baby at home. she didnt have heavy bleeding after so she just rested but she had contractions for that day mildly after the baby passed and very strong prior. you have to dilate open to allow the baby to pass, then the placenta to deliver. she said it was difficult and emotionally quite hard.

I am so sorry for your loss. With my 22 weeker I had to be induced, and after 32 hours of labor he was born. I was able to hold him after and say goodbye, and they were very nice about waiting until I was ready before taking him away. We had him cremated so that he could always be with us. I wish I had more to offer than words on a screen, because I know how much a true hug is needed at a time like this. Many prayers sent your way!
