Anyone ever used a Milkies milk saver?
A friend loaned me hers and I just tried it out, but it came out of my bra just as dry as it was when it went in. I wasn't expecting the vast quantity of pourable ounces that it showed in the demo video, but I was hoping at least for a couple of drops. :/

I haven't because I don't leak (like, ever, it's sad), but I had a girl in my ddc get 2oz a day! :speechless:

I used it with my second and would get 1-4 oz a day. Mostly in the mornings. I had a TON of milk though and did leak a bit.

Re: Anyone ever used a Milkies milk saver?
I'm just really baffled b/c I have such a huge supply that I actually have to block feed to make DS have normal poops that aren't foamy and frothy b/c of a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance. I really would have thought that the milk saver would catch a little something.

Re: Anyone ever used a Milkies milk saver?
I have one. I don't use it anymore, as I really don't leak on the non nursing side now that my nursling is older, but when she was younger I'd get 0.5-1oz per feeding on the non-nursing side, but I only nurse on one side at a time anyway. By the end of a day of feeds I'd easily have 4oz for a bag to put in the freezer or just have for a feeding that DH could feed her. That's literally how I built a 2-3 day emergency stash in case I got sick or something (prone to migraines). Now if I have to pull one out so I can go out, I have to pump when I get home to replace it, but the milk saver was awesome for the first few months.
And people thought I was exaggerating when I said I could blow through any cloth nursing pad. Even some of the disposable ones were no match for my leakage!

I didn't feel a letdown at all that other time I tried, but he just ate again and I had an amazingly painful letdown even before I took him out of the crib and he nursed for a lot longer and I ended up collecting about half an ounce.

I'm almost 4 wks pp and have been using it to start a freezer stash. I get more in it while nursing than I do pumping both sides with my Medela PIS.
