Yes, "not appropriate", "not respectful", "not responsible", "not safe" are used liberally here. Being able to read early just makes it happen more often, because what they are reading were never intended for a 3 or 4yo child. And why would they, most 3 and 4yos cannot read.

I am not saying all kids dont do this to some extent. I am just saying, when you drive the average 4yo kid by an abortion clinic protest, you can answer most of their questions generically. You wont hear them ask, what is abortion, and why is it murder? Who are the baby killers? Etc. Early reading just upps the ante.

Haha I only need to leave out a knife or two and a bowl of fruit and I've no counter space lol!

I've gone so far as to fake counter space. I have a piece of wood I put on top on the stove to use when I know I dont need the stove top.

I am trying not to live intravenously on caffeine and it's backfiring on me. Really, I am trying to be more European and drink hot decaf tea instead of soda or coffee. I'm ready to do a faceplant in the couch and beg someone to shoot me out of my misery.

I am enjoying my lunch break and my one diet coke a day....ahhhhh

I have no counter space. The microwave sits on the dryer and on top of it is a tray that hold the Kuerig and toaster. We go vertical in my kitchen

I am having a Dr Pepper 10 and some homemade mac and cheese. I am negotiating on the purchase of a horse too...via FB.
I took out my angry teacher voice on the playground today, they have a hill that slopes to a fence that they slide on. But different groups are quite territorial and it escalated to 5th grade boys trying to slide into 4th grade girls for using "their" snow slide o.O then got them back to class and a 6th grader (who I now know has a traumatic brain injury) belly flops on his stomach, smashed his head in the fence and broke his glasses. At this point I took away hill privileges. Oi.

Too cute Kari!

Dare I ask how said 6th grader had traumatic brain injuries? Because he does stuff like that, or purely coincidental?

Also, I think Ian and I need to have a discussion about how using red markers then falling asleep on the sofa so it looks like he's bleeding from his face all over his hands is NOT conducive to preventing mama from having a freakout.
