Right now I'm competing in taekwondo and running 1/2 marathons more, so I've been lifting less than before. Our TKD is also more than just forms and patterns like most schools, we spar and run drills almost every night.

Monday-
AM- 1hr cardio (running, sprints, or elliptical)
Noon- MMA fitness or CrossFit @ 9AM
PM-
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (varies by lesson, but we roll at the end of every class)
Taekwondo, sparring at the end of every class
Back belt club, weapons

Tuesday-
AM- 1hr cardio
Noon- MMA fitness, weights
PM-
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
2nd MMA fitness class & Krav Maga (the Krav class warms up with the MMA fitness class) or 1 hr competition class (TKD conditioning in sparring gear, sparring) or regular TKD
Back belt club, weapons

Wednesday-
AM- 1hr cardio
Noon- MMA fitness or CrossFit
PM-
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
1 hr Taekwondo, sparring at the end of class

Tuesday-
AM- 1hr cardio
Noon- MMA fitness, weights
PM-
1 hr Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
2nd MMA fitness class
Krav Maga

Friday-
Am- 1hr cardio
Noon- MMA fitness class or CrossFit
PM- TKD, & BJJ or TKD comp class

Saturday-
AM- 1hr cardio
TKD & BJJ if missed any classes during the week or need to work on something/a tournament coming up
PM- weights

Sunday-
rest or make up day if I had non gym things to be done (appointments, ect)

I've heard that Beaver Creek isn't as bad as it looks. I had a FB buddy that did it last year. I thought you were doing it last year too? I've done two ToughMudders in TX, they're not that bad. The first seemed long, but it was also my first mud run. DH and I are looking forward to the new Iron Warrior Dash. They went and made it 15-20 miles to top TM, YEAH!!! We've been running 1/2 marathons so I'm looking forward to the 20 miler!

I go to the gym m-f morning at 8:30 and take a class. Mon & Wed it is body pump, tues and fri it is Zumba and thurs is piyo. Some Saturday mornings I will go to Zumba too. Some days I will run 3-7 mi if it is nice out, more so in the summer and that's only if I have child free time. I pay for 90 minutes of child watch at the Y which is the main reason I go to the gym. DS looks forward to it. Sometimes I will also do the 30 day shred but never consistently. If I don't go at my 8:30am time I loose motivation and won't go. I am way motivated to run though bc I truely love it!

Monday- Yoga and Spin
Tuesday- Yoga and Spin
Wednesday- Yoga, TRX, and Spin
Thursday- Yoga and Spin
Friday- Yoga and Spin
Saturday- TRX, Spin, Kettle Bell class, and Spin

I also decided to do a 10 month challenge for push ups and sit ups that began two weeks ago...and I use my elliptical at home. I wish we had more TRX classes but we have one at home now so I'll be adding in more TRX throughout the week as well.

It sounds like a lot but yoga is done before anyone wakes up in the morning and most of the other classes are while the kids are in school. Saturdays I get to the gym by 8 so I still have plenty of the day to spend with my family. They're normally still in pjs when I finish up, lol.

Monday- Rest day
Tuesday- Run 4-7 miles
Wednesday- Run 4-7 miles, weights (shoulders and abs)
Thursday- Run 4-7 miles, weights (back and biceps)
Friday- weights (legs and abs)
Saturday- weights (chest and triceps)
Sunday- long run

This is what I am trying to follow right night. I do my running in th morning when the oldest is at school and my mom watches the youngest. We have a home gym, so I do my lifting in the afternoon during nap time. My long runs were between 6-8 miles but I am just starting marathon training and they will be greatly increasing.

I'm currently on week 2 of a 12 week Hybrid of Chalean Extreme and Turbo Fire. I like that I'm constantly doing different things and it doesn't get boring.

Treadmill or Bike is the usual.
If I feel like doing a DVD, then it's Tae Bo.
We are supposed to be Doing the Insanity workout, but we stopped after day 3 because DH had to work too late and we're supposed to be doing it together!

I have gotten back into working out recently... Here's what I've been doing:


5am workout for an hour 6 days per week
-45 min run
-15 min strength training (upper body one day, lower body the next)



5am never gets any easier... It's a battle every morning, lol!
