Re: Pregnancy After Loss (Jan 16-31)

Just in case anyone is in the market for a bucket seat, Target online is having a baby gear sale which includes 20% off Chico Keyfit 30 car seat. You can stack that discount with a 10% off code you get by texting BABY5 to 827438. My seat cost $145 including tax and free shipping.

I was gonna move my 5yr old DS to a booster, put my 3 yr old DD in his Radian, and put baby in DD's Britax. But I figure DS can be 5 point harnessed for another year in the Radian if I put baby in the bucket seat. By the time DS has outgrown the Radian, DD will probably have outgrown her Britax and then she can move to the Radian. Baby will have outgrown her bucket seat and move to the Britax. And through all this I'll be able to do 3 across and avoid having to buy a mini-van

I sure did.. tried it WITH Tylenol... no relief! I haven't had a bad headache yet like that one last week so here's to hoping I won't need that Fioricet, but in case I do get a doozie again at least I have something stronger.

I can't believe the March mamas are talking about possible inductions and going soon... so crazy!! It makes me a little sad because if I hadn't had my loss I'd be gearing up for a baby in the next month and a half, too.. but I am just so thankful and happy to be pregnant again... and soooo relieved to be feeling my baby moving all the time!!!

Keyfit is the best bucket seat IMO, which is also why it's the most expensive. It's an italian brand and they are better at safety than us americans. I belive the 20% off goes until 2/2, the 10% text coupon is longer, but don't remember how much

thanks...my sister has a peg perego that hopefully my nephew will be out of by August and hoping she'll let us borrow it. It's brand new (as of end of October this past year)

Re: Pregnancy After Loss (Jan 16-31)

MFM appt went well this morning. Miss E looks great and fluid levels are holding steady (10 today, 12 this past Monday). I had three 1+ min contrax while hooked up to the NST. MFM said at this point they won't stop labor if I go into it on my own. Good thing since yesterday I was having contrax about 7-10 mins apart for 3 hours in the afternoon. I hope they're at least doing something "down under"!

The plan is to continue biweekly NSTs and u/s to check fluid levels and for any hydrops. After this week the MCA doppler (of her brain artery) is no longer reliable to check for anemia. As long as she continues to look perfect (and MFM said she's going to be really picky) then we're going to induce at 38w on February 21st. I have an u/s and NST scheduled for 9:30 AM on the 21st for one last check and then I'll head right on over to L&D. If anything looks a little off or weird before then, then they'll send me for an induction right away.

Did I mention that February 21st is our anniversary? I'm pretty sure that a baby is NOT the traditional gift for the 9th anniversary. February 22nd is MIL's birthday. Either way this little lady is going to share a date with someone!

So exciting!!! I was induced with DS on our anniversary, but he wasn't born until after midnight so he shares a birthday with my SIL
