What's in your newborn stash?

I spent the last five years with baby fever. I am so excited to be here! I finally have a start of a newborn stash for diapers. We are going fairly simple. I wish we could afford better, but I am happy with what we have and still have planned to buy!

Right now we have:
6 Orange edge GMD workhorses with snaps
3 XS Sticky Peas
3 Tushie Ties
1 NB Bumstopper in Later Gator print

Ok, so my stash isn't that impressive yet but I am still so happy with what we have so far!

We are still buying:
1-2 dozen orange edge GMD prefolds

Re: What's in your newborn stash?

ooooo. i have 6 gmd WH's too! i have never CDed a newborn before (my son was something like 2-3 mos when i started), so my stash consists of researched solutions not real experience! if all goes well im expecting a babe over 8lbs...

i have:
6 GMD organic orange edge workhorse fitteds w/snaps
12 GMD organic orange edge prefolds
4 Thirsties Duo Diaper Size 1

am planning to get:
3 Kissaluvs Size 0
2 RAR NB covers
2 Thirsties XS covers
8 Swaddlebees Simplex AIO

have to find in my basement:
homemade MF doublers and cut them to NB size
bunch of random leftover snappis

after NB stage im planning to go to BG 4.0s. from DS i have something like 10 old style MED FB's, 2 custom ASIL, 2 goodmama fitteds, mommy's touch, drybees, something called panda pants??! but i have no idea if any of these will actually work.

I refuse to even go into the basement and look until after the first trimester, because I know I'll go on a buying spree! I think I gave most of my stash away, but I know I've got some newbie wool and some xs elbees waiting for me!

We don't have much yet since we sold everything when we decided we didn't want anymore kids...then changed our minds haha.

We have
1 wahm pocket
1 small thirsties cover
2 small adorabunz covers which are girly so might not work..
7 small fitteds (various brands)
2 LL unbleached flats
1 small motherease cover
12 hemp/cotton prefolds
5 BG
5 snappis

I still have to go through some more of ds stuff from when he was a babe...but I'm thinking we are going to try to build our stash mostly with pockets, preferably sun baby's.

Our stash is mostly FBOS that we used with DS but I have added 4 more FBOS and 4 CBOS. I will probably hunt down another 4 FB or CB diapers and call it good.

We have roughly 25 diapers left from DS but that includes some made in Turkey that will work okay for a newbie but are just too tight for DS now.

ive never used a BG AIO nor have i cloth diapered a NB, but my two cents is that it doesnt have a snap down on the rise and therefore might rub against the cord a bit - or be over top of it - which could irritate it.
