Hanes briefs or hipsters underwear for my 53 lb 7 yr old girl?

I need some help from mamas with older girls. My 7 yr old needs a new stash of undies. I like full coverage (no sexy style undies) but the reviews on the briefs say they are too big. Do the hipsters fit skimpy? Or still a full coverage style that doesn't ride up as far as the briefs?
I am ordering on amazon so can't try them out first.
Thanks for any help you can offer!

I have briefs and hipsters. I hate the Briefs because they cover my whole butt and go to my belly button. The hipsters are a lower cut and they still offer butt coverage but not all the way to the thigh like briefs. I don't think hipsters are sexy at all. How about going to Walmart and looking at the undies? Then you can get a better idea I fit. I don't have a 7yo girl yet.

We get from kohls hipster type I think (not go over belly button). They don't shrink so its nice. For my almost 8 yr old daughter for few years now.

My daughter is 7 exactly 48 inches tall and weighs 52lbs. Since she was 4 she's only worn the fruit of the loom or target brand boy shorts/hipsters. She hated the way briefs felt since they would either cut into her thighs or be extremely baggy if we sized up to accommodate her thighs. They fit her well, nothing is exposed but they do sit about an inch and a half to two inches below the belly button, if that's an issue for you.

Hipsters. They are full coverage without coming up over the naval. My girls find the briefs uncomfy because they bunch in the waist.

We do hipsters, either in regular or boyshort style...I find that most pants we buy for them sit under their belly button (sort of mid/low rise) so briefs would be showing out the top!

Thank you everyone! You have been very helpful! I am ok with them sitting below her naval. Just want full coverage in the rear.
