tmi alert, why do I feel like I have to

Pee all the time. Not your normal pregnancy having to pee all the time. Like I will finish going and then stand up and the outside of me makes me feel like going again. Does that make sense? Not my bladder. Nothing hurts or burns. It's just this constant feeling. I am going to the bathroom all the time. It's only a little each time, but this it's driving me crazy. I can't focus on anything.

Help!

are you emptying your bladder every time?

I notice that if I lean forward it puts enough pressure on it to empty it all out and then I won't have to go for another hour or two

Yup. I do the leaning forward thing, too. But I am also 24 weeks, so there's a bit more weight there to help it along, lol. Sometimes uterine position will keep me from being able to empty everything all the way, so if I lay on my back for 5-10 minutes and move around a bit, it helps it all flow down into my bladder where I can actually get emptied.

I try, I lean forward too. Maybe I'll bend myself completely in half, lol.

Even if it doesn't hurt, you may still want to be checked for a UTI.

Even without pain, it might be a UTI. They can be different during pregnancy.

Ugh, any home remedies I can do? Cranberry juice? I don't have insurance and don't want to have the bill of a urgent care visit.

^ don't do cranberry juice unless it's 100% all the extra sugar in normal cranberry juice cocktail will make a UTI worse

IMO you should get checked for diabetes. if you have a friend with a glucometer, fast for a few hours - water and diet soda are okay - then test your bloodsugar. if it's over 120 go to the doctor right away

I've tested before, it's been a while. I don't have anyone that I could use their glucometer. When I was pregnant with DD I didn't have any problems and passed my 1hr test perfectly.

The only one I know of in my family that has diabetes is my grandma.

Re: tmi alert, why do I feel like I have to

I don't usually have any other symptoms than the constant need to pee when I have a uti. Do you have an ob yet? You could see them and it would probably just go toward your prenatal care.
