BGE vs Freetime vs Simplex OS

27 lb 2 yo & 10 lb 2 mo. I hate stuffing pockets, so need some AIOs for the diaper bag. What would you recommend?

I sized Simplex.
BG products usually fit my kids well, but the pockets are still big on chicken legged newb.
I prefer cotton inners but the FT is such a deal with the b5g1...

Re: BGE vs Freetime vs Simplex OS

I'd say simplex os. I love my elementals, but they are a pain to spray. The leg openings on the elemental and the simplex os are pretty similar, so If your little guy has super chicken legs, it may be a little while before he fits either.

I've never tried a Freetime because we don't use microfiber or suede cloth, so unfortunately, I can't be much help there!

Another vote for Simplex OS! I really like them on both my 3 month old and 2.5 yr old. Such a great diaper and trimmer than the sized IMO.

Simplex OS. They fit my 19 month old, 27ish lb boy on the middle rise snap. My friend has a 3 month old baby who is about 13 lbs or so well. She loves them too.

ETA: My whole stash (pretty much) is OS Simplex and BGE, and I much prefer the fit of a simplex. I just don't love how the soakers bunch up on the BGEs. We don't do freetimes because of suedecloth

My vote would be:
1-OS simplex
2-BG freetime
3-BGE

the BGE are also great diapers, but do remember they have a slightly shorter rise than the other 2, so may be outgrown quicker...if that matters/affects you.

I agree with this. I like my freetimes best, but if you have issues with the legs openings on BGs then Simplex 2.0 will work better for you.

I have a tall 2 year old and when her little sister was born the only AIOS that would fit both on your list (when YDD was that size) would have been the Freetimes. The OS Simplex is great and would have been my fave if it had fit my 2 year old. She's around 37 inches tall though. If you have a shorter kid, you may get great use from them. I'm not a BGE fan. Couldn't get a good fit on either. Leg leaks and soaker bunch on the younger and too short in the rise for the older.

I really like my Bumpkins AIOs. The leg openings get mighty skinny and they have never leaked on me! Plus you can stuff if you need a little extra absorbency.
