Can you homeschool a Kindergardener for free?

I know there are tons of free online homeschool curriculums for preschool and pre-k, but what about Kindergarden? I am sure this topic has been discussed, but I couldn't find anything in my searches. Sorry if has been answered a million times!

If u don't mind a very strong Christian base, I think abcjesuslovesme.com is still free. And then there is starfall and shepherd software.
And don't forget the library!

Definitely starfall. My daughter is in public school and even they use starfall!

Of course! Our focus in K is to get the child reading. Check your library for books on that. Online, you can find thephonicspage.com, progressivephonics.com, and you can also find the first 52 I See Sam readers for free. If you feel so inclined to do math, MEP math is free online and very good. Then I'd just get books from the library and do LOTS of reading aloud.

We use Connections Academy, it's free here not sure about everywhere. It's an online public school, doesn't cost a thing...even the books are shipped and returned free.

Another free curriculum site. The programs of study are on the right. "getting ready" is for 4 and 5 year olds. I'm guessing that would be K.

Re: Can you homeschool a Kindergardener for free?

Funnix does free downloads from time to time and I like their math and reading program. In my opinion it would be more than enough for K (the reading will get you through 1st). I used www.theheadoftheclass.com plus funnix for Tharen for K. By the end we were mostly using funnix as he wasn't crazy about head of the class but I have used Head of the Class for Kearnan for 2nd-4th and he liked it very well. I also like Lesson Pathways for history. I've never used the other subjects though. I have used progressive phonics for phonics but personally find it a little slow moving.
