FREE Internet, say wha?
So I've been looking for options to reduce our internet bill for when we move officially to the city in a new state. I found:
http://www.freedompop.com I found some good reviews on it. http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/01/f...nches-in-beta/ http://www.gadgetreview.com/2012/05/...-4-sleeve.html So pretty much if your area has it you can get free 4G wireless internet. They also have upgrade packages which gives you more speed. The free is to read pages and surf. If you want to watch videos you can upgrade. But if you want completely free you can do offers to get more speed per month. (Like swagbucks) There is a refundable deposit on their wireless router choices. You can get a stick that plugs into one computer ($50) A little disk that you can take anywhere ($99) And I think a sleeve that goes over your Iphone. It's a Beta thing right now, but my new place has this available. Thought I would share |

It's available here, but not much. Only 500mb is free, then you can choose to pay $18 for 2 gb, or $30 for 4 gb. I use more than that with just one device, no way would we be able to use that without extensive overage charges. We use wifi on our phones, iPad, computer, and Ps3.
My little hometown had city wide wifi. It was really cheap, like $10 a month for the basic version, and it was billed to your utilities. Not good for streaming videos, but basic web searches. You could upgrade to the higher speeds for a reasonable price too. And, iirc, you could get like one hour free per month if you didn't have the money and needed it ASAP.

Re: FREE Internet, say wha?
I'm going to try it when we move to FL since its available at our new place. If you click on the "Free" 500mb it gives you a cheaper upgrade package. Dosn't hurt to try since the devices are refundable
