Re: The Big Mama's May Thread
Proud of myself! I went for a bike ride today with little man on his wee rider copilot bike he got for Christmas. It's the first time we've used it. And it's the first workout I've done since my surgery. I am a little sore in the abdomen (where the surgery was) but overall I think I"m ready to get back to working out. So tomorrow my goal is to get up at 5am instead of 6 so I can get a workout in.

Re: The Big Mama's May Thread
Good for you!
I will come do my post in the morning with my weight and whatnot. Not that it has really changed at all in the ridiculously long time I've been part of this thread. I am also going back to no refined sugar in the morning. Except for one slice of cinnamon brown sugar swirl bread because I'm making some for the second time tomorrow, and I didn't get any of the first batch (gifts for the guys that came and helped me with yard work this weekend). I am going to be pretty active tomorrow, though, as the garden is getting planted and hopefully the strawberries, as well. |

Re: The Big Mama's May Thread
Weight this morning was 227.4. The highest it's been in the last 3 weeks has been 228.something, so not much variance. Rather frustrating.

Re: The Big Mama's May Thread
Your name: Virginia
Starting Weight: 222 Current Weight: 159.4 Short-Term Goal: 155 by my anniversary (June 7th) Long-Term Goal: 125-135lbs Weight Lost to Date: 62.6lbs Weight Loss Plan : Tracking calories on MFP. UGH. I only lost 3.6lbs last month...It's freaking slow going! On a bright note, I have ONE MORE POUND exactly, until I'm considered "overweight" instead of "obese"!!!!! WOOT! I don't think my pumping will mess with my fertility too much - I only pump twice a day anymore. B does nurse several times a day during the day though, so that might hinder it a little...but I don't nurse or pump all night long. Fingers crossed this is a normal cycle. Anyways, off to try and get some of my business plan done for my business Capstone class...I'm working my butt off to try and get my last two classes done by the end of next month, so I don't have to take another term. I REALLY don't wanna have to deal with school stuff while battling morning sickness, so the sooner I get this done, the better. |

Re: The Big Mama's May Thread
Virginia- Here's hoping you have a normal cycle this month, and things go smoothly for you! As for the weight loss being slow, remember the closer to goal you get the harder it is to loose. I'm facing that same issue right now. At this point I'm happy to lose a lb in a month becuase it just doesn't come off easily for me. And yay for being out of the obese range! That was such a huge day for me. Of course when I made it across the line from overweight to healthy weight range I cried a little I was so happy.
