Blue painted walls girl's room. Need design and shopping help

So I switched my kids rooms, so now dd is in a light blue room. So, I need to buy new bedding, rugs. What colors go well with light blue? What "girly" or GN themes go well with light blue? Ideas on where to shop too? TIA!

Can you repaint the room? It would be a lot cheaper than buying new bedding and room decor.

Here are some bedding options

If you can paint you could add clouds to the wall and make it a sky back ground.

Light green and yellow are refreshing with light blue...

Light green and light orange is a little bit "mod" with light blue... As is khaki, light blue, and black or chocolate. Or less of a khaki and more of a sand color - think light ocean and beach colors.

Here's a pretty combo, that would allow accessories of many colors: http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/64906...ductId=1164515. In fact there are several on LL Bean that would work.

I did our master bedroom off the LL Bean clearance section: King sized fitted sheet, standard size pillow cases, and queen size flat sheets which were big enough to make a duvet cover for a king sized feather comforter.

Pinks, yellows, greens all look preety with light blue. If you can add a touch of paint, paint clouds on the walls. You could do a girly bug theme then - butterflies, dragonflies, ladybugs. Rainbows would be pretty with light blue. Flowers would be pretty as well. Light blue is a great color to work with and make girly.

My daughters room is done with light pinks and blues for a more softer, feminine feel instead of the more vibrant pink theme. I love soft pink and blues together

But, a beige, light green, light yellow...any soft, pastel color. I think you might be better off just painting though. $40 for a can of paint, or all new accessories to attempt to match an already painted color. Just ime

We are actually debating painting the room dd2 and ds are sharing light blue because it is a good neutral color that be made girly or boyish depending on the decor. I found this bedding that is super cute and would go nice with light blue (if the blues matched). http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20

Here is really pretty and girly room in blue.

Scroll down on this to almost the bottom. The polka dot theme would be very cute and girly and it has blue walls.
