Not sure if you replied or tried the coconut oil suggestion but that has definitely helped for us. However, refined coconut oil burns and is irritating but nonrefined virgin coconut oil works a dream.

Just be gentle no soaps and I'd use the oil after bath time. It looks pretty severe, I may try cutting dairy just to try to move things along.

I am heavily leaning towards it NOT being food-related, though, because he has ZERO diaper rash. I remember back when B was having issues, he had about a dime-sized red area right at the exit, that his homeopath said was indicative of a food sensitivity. But J has absolutely nothing odd going on in that department.

I wish I had a picture handy of my youngest as a newbie! She had the worst newborn acne, it was all over her face, and on the tops of her shoulders, it was bad. It eventually went away on its own, she now has beautiful baby skin(and no food allergies!).

Awe poor little guy. my ds had something similar but for ds it was all over his little body. My ds was allergic to all baby body washes, lotions and so on. It lasted far too long.

I don't know, but the only change is that I didn't take my placenta pills yesterday or today, and yesterday I made a giant fruit and veggie smoothie since my diet has been sorely lacking of produce lately.

I wonder if it could be the hormones from the placenta making him break out?
