Jen, who is your aunt on Bones?? Does she have a recurring role? I don't know how I blanked this out. We are home from horse riding lessons and Chinese food. It was super fun, Bella loped for the first time and I thought the "dead broke kid safe horse" was going into warp speed and trying to kill me she really likes to lope, but they never let her do it with kids. WOW. I wish I could ride more, I will be able to in the spring/summer/fall but right now it is too cold and no heated arena to ride in in the area. Right now all I want is a bath. I came home and made spaghetti. DH and Mari just got home from ice fishing in BIL's new ice house - they got 5 fish.

ahh what a day. Cheyl i hear ya on getting ready grr. so we had another plumbing situation today luckily i remedied it however it was particularly disgusting i wont divulge all the details but lets just say i ended up standing on top of the toilet with a plunger and i had to change my clothe and wipe down the walls with bleach after

OMG Kari NOT what you want to do after a vacation, lol. You are superwoman.

Jen, a local friend of mine recently made 48 cupcakes 12 at a time in her toaster oven (big oven was broken). I told her she was crazy, lol. Maybe your neighbors have a cupcake pan? So glad your aunt is on the mend.

One thing you might find with lessons for your kids, and this isn't necessarily a pro for Rosie, they really stress listening, following directions, and respect. There is NO messing around, the horses are $$$ and kids not listening or messing around the horses can get people hurt or horses hurt. It is $30/lesson for us, but Bella loves it. And it is nice for me to see her joyful (and following directions lol) But yeah, horses are not cheap. Says the person that is doing what she can not to buy one but realllly wants one.

Of course he did Kari. Raj is useless for that stuff too. I have to tell him how to do everything handy.

Jess, there is actually a place that does that nearby, and it is fairly reasonable, but not in winter. I told her we can look into it whenever it comes back open. We will see if she even remembers it then. She just read one of the Vet Volunteer books, and that one was about horses I guess, thus the sudden and dire interest in horses.
