Thanks everyone. Yes we are so happy we decided to take him in, he deteriorated so quickly it was shocking, while they were in the ER he just got worse. I honestly thought he just had a cold.

He is still on oxygen and has spent most of the day sleeping. They ran some more tests and are also doing some chromosome testing to see if he has some other syndrome (not related to his illness just have been wanting to do it so why not do it while they have to take blood anyway). He's on antibiotics for the ear infections and otherwise it's just a wait and see.

They can only offer oxygen for RSV so we just have to let it run it's course.

RSV is awful. DS got it at 9 months and was in for a week. Good luck!!!

Jos had RSV when she was 3 months old....we caught it early enough that we got to stay home. She used a nebulizer for 2 weeks I think
