Who knows about FSH tests?

My doc just gave me my results - 13. She says (I'm 40, almost 41) if we want to have a baby we need to start to try now and consider fertility treatment. I'd like another child, but we are just going to let nature take its course; not trying, not avoiding. Whatever happens, happens.

That said, what does 13 really mean? I know I just ovulated as I'm testing that twice a day. I don't track symptoms so I bought a bunch of tests on Amazon. Not necessarily so we could DTD on schedule, but so I could know what's going on with my body, kwim? So, I have reduced ovulation but I'm still ovulating? Does that mean I won't ovulate monthly? Or just that I'm closer to running out? Or what?
