To go in or not to go in?

So, this will be my 5th C/S and I had a uterine window with #4. 37 weeks...doc said repeatedly at my last apt to come in if I have 5 or more contractions in an hour but never.really.said how intense they should be. He is worried the contractions will lead to thinning of my uterus and said they would probably deliver baby via C/S if I came in with these circumstances. So, I have been having ever.so slightly increasing in intensity in contractions for the last few hours...DH works nights and is at work...I don't want to call him away from work for nothing. I also.don't.want to get someone to come over here for the other kids for nothing. What would u do? Been trying yonder if I can sleep and ignore it but its hard...

I would go in and get checked. Uterine rupture is nothing to mess with, especially since you are home alone with your other kids.

Re: To go in or not to go in?

I had a uterine window as well with both my last 2 babies. My last one I had Braxton hicks contractions starting mid 2nd trimester. They began coming about every 2-3 minutes by 6 months. It was constant as long as I was active. It was never mentioned that my contractions could cause any issue except for preterm labor.

Did the OP update at all? This is one of those unknown problems long term with c/s.
