Re: quick, healthy hot breakfast
I haven't tried quinoa. I am planning on it, but I think it will be like almost every other hot cereal- Me and ds like them and dh and dd don't. I think he only ate cold cereal growing up. We've tried to step away from it, but he complains about most every thing else.He likes eggs and sausage but if I gave it to him everyday he'd refuse to eat them ever again (he has done this with other foods). He's a big ole baby.
Wow-butter and toast I eat (with sliced bananas on top) big surprise I am the only one who will eat it. DD will eat wow-butter and apples, but not on toast. And dh refuses to eat wow-butter unless its loaded with jelly.

Baked Egg Cups eggs canadian bacon or thinly sliced ham grated cheese Line muffin tin with a piece of canadian bacon or ham Crack egg into the piece of canadian bacon or ham. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 375 for 15-17 minutes. The time will depend on how you like your eggs. Remove from pan and serve with toast and fruit. Enjoy!

I'd do quiche. You can make it veggie or meaty depending on the likes. I cut everything up the night before, crack the eggs in the morning and mix in the bit of bisquick and into the oven it goes!

I found a recipe once upon a time where you fill muffin cups with stuffing mix (the king where the seasoning is mixed in, not the kind with packets), crack an egg on each one, then add bacon or sausage and bake. I made two dozen and stuck them in the fridge and reheated for breakfast for a few days...I loved them! Dh was a bit iffy but he doesn't really like stuffing in general :/

Re: quick, healthy hot breakfast
I do pancakes and waffle sticks in the baby cakes things. I just keep a bowl of pancake batter in the fridge. The pancake/waffle maker heats up in like 2 minutes and is ready to go. The pancake maker is easier and quicker and I use it more. It makes 2 perfect pancakes in less than 5 minutes for ds. You don't use any oil so they are healthier than traditional pancakes. If I make cinnamon pancakes, ds will eat them without syrup.
