chinese food?

chinese food is okay during pregnancy, right? i've heard mixed reviews, and i really want some (i just ordered some for hubby), but not if it's dangerous/not a good idea.

Yes, it's perfectly safe. If it weren't, I would be one grumpy pregnant lady.

msg mainly... I say eat it. if you crave salt, its probably cause you are expanding your blood volume. eat away! I always crave chinese during pregnancy

I ate Chinese food but we only get from one place that doesn't use MSG.

I thought just sushi was off limits. I've had Chinese food a couple of times in this pregnancy but I don't really like it

I crave Chinese most often! I think, aside from sodium intake, people worry about buffets where the food might not be kept at the correct temperatures--- which would mean it's not safe for ANYONE. If its fresh (or a place you trust) I say go for it

Where did you order from? I need good chinese food. I hate moving to new places and not knowing which places are the good places.
