In a spray bottle: 1-2 tsp Dr Bronners (Hemp & Tea Tree) 1 tbsp olive oil 3-4 drops Grapefruit Essential Oil 6-8 drops Lavender Essential Oil 1-2 drops Tea Tree Oil Do you think this is okay? |

Re: Dr Bronner's Wipe Solution?? Help :)
I just wet a small face cloth in warm water as I need one. After CDing 3 kids, this 4th will be getting no frills. A wipes solution is not necessary - after all, we don't use them on ourselves.

Yeah I'm wanting some kind of solution. I feel it gets them cleaner to me. I was just wondering if these essential oils were okay in a wipe solution?
Thanks mama!

There have been some comments in threads here about tea tree oil possibly being bad for younger babies. You might want to research the science on that if no one gives you the info in this thread.

That sounds similar to mine.
How much water are you using? I have a little 6oz spray bottle that i make it in. I use a tsp or 2 of dr bronners baby & jojoba oil with a drop of tto & 2 drops of lavender eo. Then fill it the rest of the way with warm water & shake it up. |

I think that is waaaaay too strong to use on sensitive body parts. It would however, be awesome to disinfect the kitchen and bathroom (minus the olive oil).

I agree. Drop the essential oils and use the baby mild (unscented) Dr. Bronner's if you really want a "wipe" solution. That solution sounds incredibly strong and likely would burn and cause rashes. That is stronger than the concentration I use for disinfecting in my house.

Re: Dr Bronner's Wipe Solution?? Help :)
I used a solution similar to this...I use the dr bronners pure castile liquid soap w lavender, tea tree oil, coconut oil and boiled water(for sanitation). this mixture works amazingly..and it leaves my sons bum soft and moisturized without any irritation
also..I use the tea tree oil because it is antibacterial..you dont want your wipes solution getting gross..and it allows me to make a jar full to keep refilling my spray bottle as needed.
