Second pair of longies finally done!

Lollytree Yarns Licorice Twist (Fairytale) using the Burgh Baby Gear pattern (with German short rows).

Finally finished these. I had to take them back to the waistband twice and then finally had to restart it completely, adding an inch to the measurements. This colourway is just not cut out for proper striping on the size of longies I needed! Had some really awful pooling (and I normally like pooling, so this was bad!). However, thanks to all the restarting, they now fit beautifully even with the added inch, because baby grew a lot in 5 months! (in that time I also had to take a long knitting break to get my eyes rested as my prescription changed and my glasses were bent, ending up in some really bad eye strain >_< I had to get new ones)

I used the “swirl in one direction” cuff instructions on the right cuff, and to get it to swirl in the other direction for the left cuff I added the stitch at the beginning of the knit section instead of the end… This didn’t reverse the swirl like I though, but made a really nice fluffy cuff! If I could do it over, I would do the right cuff that way too (but ends already woven in and I am not experienced enough to rip it out and redo it!).

Love the cuffs and the leg pooling! I always love getting striped pooling like that, especially when it works out on both legs.
