Re: So excited

Fun! I make my own lip balm and deodorant but have yet to try moisturizer. I'd love to make shampoo and cond., too (other than no poo type stuff), but can't find any good recipes.

I was thinking I'd get about 5 dropper bottles. Not euro, eye dropper. I plan on thick oils and have heard that euro droppers don't work well with thick oils. I'll fill the bottles (2 or 4 Oz, I can't decide) with:
1. castor oil
2. sweet almond oil
3. almond, vitamin E, and Lavendar (general face or hand moisturizer)
4. almond, vit E, carrot seed, juniper, geranium, green tea (anti-aging face oil)
5. can't decide If I need another one

That way I don't have the huge bottles of oils during on counter top, and I don't have to keep mixing my oils in my palm each time. Thoughts? Sound reasonable?

Re: So excited

I bought eye dropper bottles as well. Sometimes you will get one where you simply cannot control the flow that well. But euro bottles are as you say bad for thick oils, and they will tend to be either really slow or really fast. You have less of a chance of being able to modulate the flow well. That said, I was able to repurpose a flip top bottle for my OCM mixture. I think I would find unscrewing and screwing an eye dropper bottle every time I wanted to handle such a mixture frustrating (I use my eye dropper bottles for essential oil blends where I need to be able to count the drops).
Deodorants, Oils, and Diapersticks!
If you always thought you sweat or smelled too strongly to use natural deodorants, my unusually strong but gentle deos may be for you!
