My Mood:
What kind of cover would work best?

I've been watching the thread for how to make Daddy flats. I'd like to try making some for the baby due in May. We have a ton of tees that need to be donated or upcycled, and I'm not sure I can afford a newborn stash. I'm just wondering what I would need and what would work best as a newborn cover? I definitely don't want wool.

Depends on the size of your baby, but I would say XS Thirsties covers, Pro Wraps or what I did: I used the "real nappies" brand covers (6 for $36 on Amazon). I would check FSOT for newborn covers, too!

Re: What kind of cover would work best?

I am about to list some Bummis nb covers.

My favorite nb and small covers are the Dappi nylon pull-ons. They are super cheap, effective, and....did I say cheap???? The legs and waist are nice and soft, too. Perfect for those stages that they are in for such a short time, then you can invest more covers they will wear a while.
Get Pink!!!!
