Re: using only fitteds? and how many diapers for never using the dryer??

I would do 3 1/2 days worth just in case it is raining. So whatever that amount happens to be. If baby is using 8 diapers a day then 30 diapers. If baby is only using 6 a day then 20 diapers. Then wash every 2 days. I would however try to stick with cotton fitteds. I have heard of people having trouble with complete drying of hemp diapers and stink with bamboo.

I'd say 36 maybe more, those organic sandys take a LONG time to dry. They are really nice though

I agree. You may also consider getting some other fitteds that would dry faster (I'm thinking regular Sandys and/or GME workhorses). The organic Sandys take longer to dry than the regular ones. Although, if I was only line drying, I don't know if I'd want a whole stash of fitteds, tbh.

Re: using only fitteds? and how many diapers for never using the dryer??

I would for sure stick with cotton fitteds if you only want to line dry. I have some hemp-bamboo velour fitteds that I usually dry for one cycle then airdry the rest of the way...even after 90 min in warm dryer, they take 2 days to dry fully inside on a rack next to furnace. I have Sandy's bamboo and they take 110 min in warm dryer and 1.5 days to dry just on drying rack alone. I think the cotton Sandy's would be fine, but stay away from hemp, for sure.

We heated with a wood burner and now heat with a gas furnace(moved). The wood burner kept the air much dryer. I would bet it would dry faster than in gas or electric heated homes.
